Methods of Giving

It’s easy, and it’s tax deductible! Gifts may be specified as either projects or endowment funds. Gifts of any size are appreciated and can be combined to benefit
St. Charles Parks and Recreation. You may contribute to any of the programs listing below by clicking through to donate online. For additional information, call

The Gift of Trees

We plant trees to benefit future generations. You may request a particular park for your tree, or let the Parks Department choose a location for you.

We are no longer planting trees in the following parks: Kister Park, Berthold Square Park, Frontier Park, Westwinds Park, Forget Me Not Park, Woodlands Park.

Fence Posts at Discovery Playground in Jaycee Park

Purchase a fence post with your personalized message. They will be placed along the fence at St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department’s all inclusive Discovery Playground at Jaycee Park.

Benches

Honor someone special. You can request a park for your bench or allow the Park Staff to help you.
All parks have benches available with the exception of Frontier Park, Kister Park and Berthold Square Park.

Personalized Pavers at Lewis and Clark Statue in Frontier Park

Be a part of history. Purchase an engraved brick that will be placed in the courtyard surrounding the Lewis and Clark monument in Frontier Park. Proceeds assist with the perpetual care of the statue.

Personalized Pavers at Forget-Me-Not Park

Purchase an engraved brick that will be placed in the semi-circle performance area in the Forget-Me-Not Park. Proceeds assist with the perpetual care of park.

Please contact the Foundation for information about the tax benefits of other methods of giving, including:

All gifts will be placed in a Composite Trust Fund. Donors will receive recognition or anonymity as desired. Project requests will be reviewed by the Project Selection Committee and must be approved by the Board of Directors.
